How to Edit a Patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the PS3

One of the benefits of the online accessibility of PlayStation 3 (PS3) is the ability for game developers to improve and debug games that have already been released by updating games with patches.      Turn on the PlayStation 3 with the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" disc inserted into the console.

     Search for the patch you wish to delete. If a game previously worked and is now experiencing errors, it is likely the most recent patch that negatively affected your game. Scroll down to the last patch that was installed. Select information to verify the size and date of the patch to ensure you have located the correct patch.
