How to Create PS3 Game Saves

The Sony PlayStation 3 comes equipped with an impressive hard drive, but space can become filled quickly between save files, downloaded games and stored multimedia content. XrossMediaBar, the graphical user interface for the console, allows for a simple back-up method that transfers hard drive data onto an external drive. In case of corrupted data or a cleared hard drive during repairs, the files can then be moved from the external drive to the system drive.
