How to Install Pak Files on a PS3 With GeoHot

Side-loading applications on the Sony PlayStation 3 can be done using package files (PKG) that are created by developers. Initially the option to install applications onto the PS3 from external media was not available, but after custom firmware was released, these PKGs could now be installed. PKGs, also known as "Pak" files, exist for many different types of PS3 applications.
