How to Hook Up the PS3 to Sanyo TV With HDMI

The PlayStation 3 connects to your high-definition Sanyo television through an HDMI cable, which is sold separately from the game console and can be purchased at any electronics store. The game console supports video input in 1080p, 1080i, 720p and 576p for crystal-clear graphics when playing games on the console. While the AV cable that comes with the console plugs into three different ports to output video and audio, the HDMI cable provides both audio and video with a single cable. The HDMI connection reduces picture-quality loss that typically occurs with other connection types, as the Sanyo television is configured for high-definition input.
