How to Hook Up a PS3 to a Philips Flat Screen TV

The Philips flat screen high-definition television supports a HDMI connection as well as a component AV connection for the PlayStation 3 game console. Both the component and HDMI cables are sold separately, since the PS3's AV cable is the standard cable supplied with the console. Either cable is suitable for viewing high-definition graphics on your television, because both cables support video modes up to 1080p when used with the Philips HD television.
