How to Reinstall Netflix on the PS3

Install the Netflix Application

  Press the "PS" button on the PS3 controller to power on the console. Log in to your user account.

  Select the "Video" icon, highlight the "Netflix" icon and then press the "X" button.

  Press the "X" button to download and install the Netflix application.

  Press the "X" button to install the latest software patch, if available. If there is no new software patch available, no prompt will appear.

  Enter your Netflix user ID in the top box, and then enter your password in the bottom box.

  Select "Continue" and then press "X." A four-digit Netflix activation code will appear.

Activate the PS3

  Open the Netflix device activation page on your Web browser.

  Enter the four-digit activation code into the box provided, and then press the "Activate" button.

  Launch the Netflix application on the PS3, to begin viewing instant streaming Netflix videos.
