How to Downgrade to 3.50 on the PlayStation 3

In the gaming system hacker community, the process of "softmodding" your Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) basic operating system (OS) is performed to allow you to access unauthorized applications and games through your device. However, most softmodding applications for the PS3 do not work with the OS 3.50 version of the gaming system. Therefore, it becomes necessary to downgrade from that version to a older version. The process of downgrading from 3.50 on your PS3 is fairly straightforward.
