Instructions
Using an HDMI Cable
Insert one end of an HDMI cable into the "HDMI Out" jack on the back of the PS3 console. Connect the other end of this cable to the "HDMI" input jack on the TV set.
Plug the smaller end of the power cable that came with the PS3 into the "Power" jack on the back of the PS3 console. Plug the other end of this cable into an electrical outlet.
Turn on the PS3. Turn on the TV.
Change the TV's video input channel to the HDMI source by repeatedly pressing the "Input" or "Source" button on the TV's remote control until you arrive at the right channel.
Using Component Cables
Insert the single plug end of the PS3 component AV cable into the "AV Multi Out" jack on the back of the PS3 console.
Plug the green component plug, on the other end of the PS3 component AV cable, into the TV's green component video input jack labeled "Y." Plug the blue component plug into the TV's blue component input jack labeled "Pb/Cb."
Plug the red component plug into the TV's red component input jack labeled "Pr/Cr." Plug the white audio cable into the TV's white audio input jack labeled "Audio L," then plug the red audio cable into the TV's red audio input jack labeled "Audio R."
Connect the smaller end of the power cable that came with the PS3 to the "Power" jack on the back of the PS3 console. Plug the other end of this cable into an electrical outlet.
Turn on the PS3. Turn on the TV.
Change the TV's video input channel to the component source by repeatedly pressing the "Input" or "Source" button on the TV's remote control until you arrive at the right channel.
