How to Get New Map Packs on Call of Duty: World at War for PS3

"Call of Duty: World at War" is the fifth game in the Call of Duty franchise. Available for PC and video-game consoles including the PlayStation3, "World at War" tasks players with fighting for the Allies in World War II. In addition to the standard game, there are three different map packs. These map packs include multiplayer levels as well as additional Nazi Zombie levels. These map packs can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store to the PS3.

Instructions

      Power on your PS3 and select the PlayStation Store icon. The store can be accessed from the PlayStation Network tab or game tab. If you do not yet have a PlayStation Network account, you will be brought to the screen where you can create one. Otherwise, log in to your PSN account.

      Select "Add-Ons" from the menu list of the PlayStation Store.

      Select the icon for "Disc Based Game Add-Ons."

      Select the title list for "A-L" and choose "Call of Duty: World at War."

      Purchase the map pack that you wish to download. You can buy the three map packs separately for $9.99 each or purchase a bundle of all three for $24.99 as of 2011.
