How to Downgrade the Game Haze in PS3

"Haze" is a futuristic first-person shooter for the PlayStation 2 (PS3). The multiplayer features both competitive and cooperative game modes, all of which tie into the game's single player story. Shortly after "Haze" was released, a number of patches were released to fix issues commonly encountered in the cooperative mode. Each patch changed the game's version number. The PS3's Game Data Utility allows you to manually delete patches and therefore downgrade "Haze," returning the game to its out-of-the-box state.

Instructions

    • 1

Scroll to the "Game" icon on the PS3 main menu (XMB).

    • 2

      Select "Game Data Utility."

    • 3

Select all "Haze" data files, press the "Triangle" button and select "Delete." Select "Yes" when asked to confirm the deletion.
