How to Get a Lightning Theme for a PS3

There are myriad custom themes and wallpapers for the PS3. Some of these downloads are free and others are obtained by accomplishing certain task and winning battles. The lightning theme is one of the more sought-after PS3 backgrounds and one of the most difficult to obtain. There is a large database of themes available on the PS3 Vault website, including the the lightning theme.

Things You'll Need

P3T lightning theme
Flash drive
Final Fantasy XIII PS3 game

Instructions

  Download P3T lightning theme to your computer. Create a folder labeled "PS3." Inside the PS3 folder, create another folder called "Theme." Insert the P3T file into the "Theme" folder, and save it to a flash drive.

  Insert the flash drive into the PS3. Go to "Settings," "Theme settings," "Install" and then select the "P3T" file from the Theme folder. Download it to your PS3 console.

  Defeat the last three bosses in the final chapter of the "Final Fantasy XIII" PS3 game. You must obtain a "5 STARS" ranking in every battle. Max out your parties parameters to get the highest ranking. Avoid "spoilers" in the final boss, and you will unlock the "Superstar Gold Trophy." This allows you to obtain the lightning theme.
