How to Get Out of the Animus in Brotherhood

When Desmond gets into the Animus in "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood," you find that you are once again in control of Ezio, Desmond's ancestor and the main protagonist in "Assassin's Creed II." During the Animus portions of the game, you learn more about the conspiracy taking place during Ezio's time period. If you want to exit the Animus at any point during the game, you can do so via the pause menu.

     Press the "Start" button to pause the game at any time while you are in the Animus.

     Scroll down to the "Leave Animus" option.

   • 3

     Press "X" to confirm your choice if you are playing the PlayStation 3 version. If you are playing on the Xbox 360, press "A." You will be asked to confirm this choice --- select "OK" to exit the Animus.
