How to Get Adobe on PlayStation 3

PlayStation 3 does more than just allow the user to play video games. It also provides access to the Internet. One usage option after connecting to the Internet is watching videos online. Some of these videos require Adobe Flash player. This must be downloaded to the PS3 to watch the videos. Downloading this software can be done in just a few minutes.

Instructions

  Navigate to the "Settings" within the PS3 menu. Press the arrow keys to navigate to this part of the menu.

  Select the "System Update" option from the "Settings" menu. Press the "X" button to make the selection.

  Choose "Update via Internet" from the current menu. Press the "X" button to make the selection.

  Select "OK" when it appears on the screen. Press the "X" button to make the selection. This will trigger the PS3 to search for the most recent version of the Adobe Flash Player.

  Select "OK" once again as it appears on your screen, to start the download. Press the "X" button to make the selection.

  Wait several minutes for the download to finish. The actual time needed to complete the download will depend on the speed of your Internet connection. A message will appear on the screen when you have successfully installed Adobe Flash Player on the PS3.
