Turn the PS3 so that you are looking at the rear of the console.

Locate the bar code sticker, either on the lower, left corner of the rear of the console or near the top of the rear, slightly off-center left.

Beside the 11-digit serial number, locate the letters "CECH," followed by a sequence of numbers and letters. This is the model number.
