How to Hook Up With a Friend on PS3

The PlayStation Network (PSN) is the PS3's official matchmaking service that allows you to hook up with friends in various multiplayer games and applications. After signing up for a free PSN account, you will have access to a Friends List that keeps track of friends, their trophies and their activities. After adding your friends to the Friends List, they can be invited to games or engaged in voice and/or text chat.
