The PlayStation 3 is a home gaming console that supports many different modes of game play. For example, you may be able to play split-screen cooperative game play as long as you have a game which supports the activity. This means two players can sit on the same couch and play the same game on the same screen, splitting the two parts of the screen to display each player's point of view.
