In the PlayStation 3 version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops," you can play an additional arcade mode that has no impact on the single player campaign story mode. This is known as Zombies mode, where you need to fight off zombies on various different maps. By default, you already have one map unlocked, but you can unlock another map by playing the single player story mode as well.

Load "Call of Duty: Black Ops" to the main menu.

Select "Zombies" and press "X." If you do not have the other map unlocked, you automatically start with the only map you have.

Complete the single player mode to unlock "Five," a Zombies map featuring four historical figures.
