How to Fix a Hacked MW2 for PS3

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" is a first-person shooter game released for the Sony PlayStation 3 in November 2009. Some players have found holes in the game's coding to exploit, leading to many different ways that they can hack the game and alter certain aspects of it. If you have a hacked save of "Modern Warfare 2," you can fix the game at the expense of losing any progress you put into it.

     Navigate to the "Game" menu on your PlayStation 3.

     Navigate up to "Saved Data Utility." This is the second option on the list.

     Press "X" to open a list of your saved games.

     Highlight "Modern Warfare 2." You may have multiple entries if you have more than one profile on your PlayStation 3. Select the one with your profile name at the end.

     Press "Triangle" and select "Delete."
