How to Reassemble a PS3 Controller

Advanced video game players like to make modifications to their consoles and accessories to gain gameplay advantages. With the PlayStation 3, a common customization involves taking apart the wireless controller to add features such as turbo, LED lights and added analog control stick sensitivity. Although it is fairly simple to take apart the PlayStation 3 controller, reassembling it is an arduous process that could result in a malfunctioning part. Put the controller back together by following the steps in detail.

Instructions

      Place the plastic analog sticks back into the PlayStation 3's front casing. Locate the internal battery that is used to power the controller. Insert the internal battery into the PS3's printed circuit board.

      Reinsert the printed circuit board into the front casing. Fasten the screw that holds the circuit board into the front casing of the PS3.

      Push both parts of the casing together. Slide the casing with the face buttons on it in a downward motion. Simultaneously slide the bottom casing upward to lock the controller in place.

      Reinstall the five screws into the bottom of the controller to secure the two casing sections together.
