How to Take Screenshots in PlayStation Home

PlayStation Home is a free online social gaming service provided by Sony. PlayStation 3 (PS3) owners with an Internet connection can create virtual characters and interact within PlayStation Home's 3D world. Among several other basic tools, PlayStation Home includes the ability to take screenshots using a virtual camera. The camera is available automatically to all users of PlayStation Home and is accessed via the "Start" menu.

  Press the "Start" button and choose the "Personal" menu. Open the "Inventory" submenu in the "Personal" menu and choose "Camera." The camera is a virtual item your PlayStation Home character automatically has in his inventory. It can be used in first- or third-person to take photos of anything in the PlayStation Home world.

  Switch between third- and first-person views by pressing the "L2" button.

  Press the "Square" button to take a screenshot at any time. Press and hold the "Square" button to enable the camera's flash for brighter pictures. Photos are saved on the PS3's hard drive in the "Photo" menu.
