How to Delete a PSN Account Online

When you create a PlayStation Network account (PSN account), it's permanent. You can't delete it through your PS3 or online. However, you can terminate your account by calling Sony. When you terminate your account you'll lose access to the PlayStation Network, as well as any trophies or games you've accumulated. Note that this action can not be undone, and no refunds will be given for any points you may have purchased using your PSN account.

     Write down the email address you used to sign up for your PSN account. You'll also need the password.

     Call Sony at 1-877-971-7669.

   • 3

     Request that they terminate your PSN account. You'll need to give them your email address and password.
