How to Troubleshoot Slow Netflix on a PS3

Netflix is a premier Internet movie rental site that allows you to rent your favorite movies and TV shows. For a monthly fee after the trial period, you can stream videos using your PlayStation 3 gaming console (PS3) and watch on your TV. Netflix relies on an Internet connection to stream content, so occasionally, you're likely to run into slow buffering and display speeds. A few troubleshooting guidelines may solve connection problems and speed up the buffering and display speed.

  Check your network connection if your Netflix video suddenly stops. If you're using a modem, make sure your Ethernet cable is properly connected to the Ethernet port on your gaming console.

  Check your wireless connection if you're connected to a wireless access point. If your wireless connection is erratic, turn off your router for a few seconds and then turn it back on.
