How to Format a MP3 to a PS3

Many of the modern consoles today, including the PlayStation 3, can be used to store and play your MP3 music files. The issue many users have is that they do not know how to transfer MP3 files to their console. With the use of an MP3 player and a USB cord, you can transfer and enjoy all the songs you want to your PS3.

MP3 player
USB cord

Instructions

  Download the songs you want to your MP3 player, and make sure they have been added to your device.

  Connect a USB cord from your MP3 player to your PlayStation console.

  Use the left joystick and scroll over to the "Music" tab on your PlayStation's screen. Your MP3 player's name should appear under this tab.

  Click on your MP3 player, then press "triangle" and choose "display all." All your song titles should now be shown.

  Press "triangle" again on the songs you would like to format and transfer to your PS3 console, and click "copy." The songs will be copied to your music tab, and you now have your MP3 on your PlayStation.
