How to Make the Ground Different in LittleBigPlanet

"LittleBigPlanet," released for the PlayStation 3 in 2008, features both a standalone, single-player experience and an in-depth level-creator mode in which players can build environments from the ground up. You can create everything from objects and obstacles to the ground beneath the feet of your rag-doll character, Sackboy. There are several options for modifying the world around you, and changing the ground or platforms you walk on is no different.

  Enter "Create Mode" and press the "Square" button to open the Popit menu.

  Select "Tools Bag" and press "X" to open it.

  Select "Change Material" and choose what you want to change the ground to. Options include glass, rubber, metal, cardboard and several others.

  Select the ground or platform you want to change to your selected material and press "X." You can do this multiple times to change different objects.

  Press the "Circle" button to return to the Popit menu.
