Place a towel on a table. Place the motherboard face down on the towel. Place the bottom metal plate on the motherboard, Run the screws through the holes in the plate. Tighten the screws with a Torx screwdriver. Turn the motherboard over. Place the bottom case of the PlayStation console so that the opening is on the left side and the front ledge is facing you.
Insert the hard drive into the opening on the left side. Attach the screw at the top of the drive with the Phillips screwdriver. Place the fan on the outline that matches its shape on the motherboard. Insert the plug from the cable attached to the fan into the socket that is next to it. Attach the two screws to the fan with the Torx screwdriver.
Place the heat-sink on the outline that matches its shape on the motherboard. Place the bracket over each end of the heat-sink. Run the screws through the slots in the brackets. Tighten the screws with a Torx screwdriver. Insert the plug from the cable attached to the motherboard into the socket in the bottom case of the console.
Place the motherboard into the bottom of the console. Run the screws through the holes in the sides, top and bottom of the motherboard. Tighten the screws with the Torx screwdriver.
Place the small green board in the depression that matches its shape at the front inside edge of the console. Attach the screws through the slots in the side of the board. Insert the plug from the cable attached to the board into the socket next to where the board is now lying. Place the bracket over the board. Insert the screw at each end. Tighten each screw.
Insert the power plug and the data plug from the cables attached to the disc drive into the corresponding sockets in the outline that matches the drive's shape. Place the drive on the outline. Close the clamp mounted on the circuit board over the cables. Attach the screws through the slots in the sides of the drive. Place the disc drive cover on the disc drive.
Place the Bluetooth board in the depression in the outline of the power supply that matches the board's shape. Attach the screws through the slots in the board. Insert the plug from the cable attached to the board into the socket next to where it is lying.
Place the top metal plate on the top of the motherboard. Run the screws through the slots in the plate. Tighten the screws with a Torx screwdriver. Insert the plastic clips on each side of the back cover into the corresponding slots in the sides of the bottom case. Stand the back cover up against the back of the motherboard. Attach the three screws into the slots in the back cover. Tighten the screws.
Press in on the plastic clip at the back of the half section of the top case. Place the half section on the console. Release the clip. Insert the seven screws into the top of the case. Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Slide the top of the case away from you. Insert the plastic case foot into the socket on the top of the case. Twist the foot clockwise.
