Display Share is Not Showing on My PS3

Display Share is a program for the PlayStation 3 game console that allows people to share their Windows computer screen with their PS3. If you can't get your Display Share program to work on your system, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take. The Display Share program has minimal system requirements needed to connect to the PS3 console. The computer must be on your home Internet connection to connect to the PS3.

      Check your computer to make sure that you have the minimum system requirements. The Display Share program requires Windows Vista, XP or Windows 7. If you don't have one of these operating systems, upgrade your computer.

      Upgrade your processor to a Core 2 Duo or better to use the program. Upgrade your wireless adapter to the wireless 11n protocol. This is recommended for the Display Share program.

      Connect your PC to the wireless network through the "System Tray" on the bottom right side of the screen. Enter your password into the field when prompted and then click the "Connect" option.

      Open your "Display Share" prompt via the icon on your computer. Go to your PS3 and scroll through the home screen to the "Settings" option. Click on the "Network Settings" option and then click the "Internet Connection Settings." Click on the "Yes" button.

      Click on the "Easy" button and then click on the "Wireless" icon. Click on the "Scan" button and then click on your home network from the menu. Click on the "Security" option and then enter your password into the field that appears. Save your settings from the menu.

      Scroll through the home screen to the "PC" icon on the menu. Wait for the computer to connect to the PC via the Display Share program.
