How to Finish an Enemy in Castlevania for PS3

"Castlevania: Lords of Shadow" is an action-adventure video game for the PlayStation 3 video game console. "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow" deviated from the gameplay formula established by previous "Castlevania" titles in that it is not a side-scrolling action game, but a fully rendered three dimensional action adventure title. Along with the new game engine, players of "Lord of Shadow" can expect to face strong enemies, many of which require a quick-time event (QTE) to be completed to finish off the enemy.

Instructions

- 1
  Inflict damage on any enemy you are fighting using the various tools at your disposal until the enemy staggers, and a button emblem appears above its head.

  Move your character up to the staggered enemy and press the button that corresponds with the button shown on the screen. Typically it will be the square button on the controller. Your character will engage in extreme acts of derring-do in an attempt to finish off the monster you are fighting.

  Press the buttons that match the symbols shown on screen in the order they are shown. If you mistakenly hit another button, your character will be dislodged from the creature, and you will need to damage it until it is staggered once again.
- 4
  Celebrate your hard fought victory once you have completed the button sequence and the enemy has been slain.
