How to Flag a Hacker on PS3

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) features a free multiplayer service to games which support it. As a free service, anybody can access it, including people with bad sportsmanship and a poor sense of manners. For example, you may notice someone you are playing with has unusual characters in their profile name or is playing the game with perfect accuracy, as if a robot were completing the actions. When this happens, you may have come across a hacker, and you must report the user to Sony.

     Open the PSN complaint form in your Web browser. Sign into your account.

     Type in your email address and the profile name of the user you are reporting. Click "Next."

   • 3

     Click "Cheating: Cheating in-game." This displays a drop-down menu of PSN games.

     Select the game in which you saw the hacker cheating.

   • 5

     Click "Submit" to send the form to Sony.
