How to Fully Upload a Game to a PlayStation 3

PlayStation 3 (PS3) is the newest version of the PlayStation gaming system. PS3s come with a hard drive capable of saving game progress as well saving complete games and movies that have been purchased from the PlayStation Store. The PlayStation Store has many types of games and movies available in a variety of price ranges. PS3 owners just complete a purchase online through the PS3 system and step through the process by fully uploading the purchase to the system's hard drive.

     Sign into the "PlayStation Store" from the main menu of the PS3.

     Shop for a game and click on "Add to Cart" then "View Cart." Click on "Proceed to Checkout" and "Confirm Purchase."

     Select the item you wish to download onto your PS3 system and the system will begin downloading it for you.

     Play the game as soon as the downloading process is complete. No disc will be required for game play since the game is fully stored on your PS3's hard drive.
