How to Assign a Gameshark Controller to Playstation 3
The PlayStation 3 can be synced with up to seven controllers for a large local co-op game. GameShark manufactures aftermarket controllers for the PS3 console, typically at a reduced price. A wireless GameShark controller can be synced through the same procedure as an official PS3 controller. A new controller, or one previously synced to a different console, will need to be re-synced if you want to use it for game play.

Turn on the console.

Plug in the wired controller, or press the "PS" button.

Choose a port number to correspond to the appropriate player number. To choose ports 5 to 7, add the two lit numbers.
