Cheats to Make it Flood on GTA IV for Xbox

Many critics praised Rockstar Games' 2008 release "Grand Theft Auto IV" for its highly lifelike weather effects. One of these effects is the rain that occasionally falls on Liberty City, the game's fictionalized version of New York City. When it rains in "Grand Theft Auto IV," you have to deal with realistic issues such as hydroplaning while driving your vehicle. While normally you are unable to control the game's weather, beating the main story's final mission allows you to open a special debug mode.
  1. Prerequisites

    • Complete the game's main body of missions, including the final battle against Niko's nemesis Faustin.

    Niko's Flat

    • Go to Niko's first apartment in Dukes. Put on the outfit you purchased from the Russian clothing store at the beginning of the game.

    Debug Menu

    • Go to the "Save" menu and hold down "L2" and "R2." This causes the debug menu to appear. Select "Weather Effects," then "Flash Flood" in the debug menu, then exit the building to enjoy a flood of your own creation.

    Disabling Flood

    • You can return to Niko's apartment, reopen the debug menu and disable the flood or other weather effects whenever you wish.
