How to Attach a TV Antenna to a PS3

Most television antennas connect to televisions through the use of a coaxial cable. If you own a PlayStation 3 (PS3) and have the necessary software on the console to detect television antennas, you can connect one to the PS3 by converting your coaxial cable to a USB cable. With the right converter equipment, this is a simple task.

Things You'll Need

RF Modulator
RCA cables
RCA-to-USB converter

Instructions

  Connect one end of your coaxial cable to the coaxial port on your TV antenna.

  Connect the other end of your coaxial cable to the coaxial port on your RF modulator.

  Connect one end of your RCA cables to the RCA port on your RF modulator.

  Connect the other end of your RCA cables to the RCA ports on your RCA-to-USB converter.
- 5
  Connect the USB cable extending from the RCA-to-USB converter to an available USB port on your PS3. The two devices are now connected.
