How to Edit a Value in a PS3 Game

The PlayStation 3, or PS3, game console was first released in 2006 and since then several different versions with updated cases have been released. In every version of the PS3 console, however, the system for entering in values and information while playing games is the same. If you get to a point in a PS3 game you're playing where you need to edit an onscreen value, this isn't a very difficult process.

Instructions

  Load the game in your PS3 console and follow the prompts to resume where you left off.

  Navigate through the game map to the point where you need to edit the onscreen value(s).

  Press the "Action X" button on your PS3 controller when prompted to bring up an onscreen keypad.

  Move the left thumb-stick around and press the "Action X" button to select the letters you want to enter.
- 5
  Press the "Start" button when you're finished editing the values to save your entry and continue the game.
