How to Edit My Avatar on PlayStation 3 Network

When you first use a PlayStation 3, the console prompts you to create a profile. Your profile records the trophies you earn and any downloadable games or content you buy. You can customize your profile by adding personal information and an avatar, a small picture you use to represent your profile visually. The PlayStation 3 includes over 100 avatar pictures to choose from; you can change your picture from the PlayStation 3's main menu at any time.

     Select the "PlayStation Network" tab on the PlayStation 3's main menu.

     Select "Account Management."

     Select "Account Information" followed by "Avatar."

     Select an avatar from the list provided. Select "Confirm" followed by "OK" to save your choice. Your profile is automatically updated with the new avatar picture.
