How to Enable HDMI for the PS3 for a Sanyo TV

Sony's PlayStation 3, or PS3, can output High Definition and Standard Definition video. If your Sanyo television includes an HDMI, or High Definition Multimedia Interface port, then you will be able to take advantage of the PS3's High Definition capability at 1080p, 1080i, 720p or 480p by using an optional HDMI cable to connect the two devices, and making some settings changes. The HDMI cable also carries the audio signal.
