How to Unlock the Bow & Arrow in Resident Evil 5

In the video game "Resident Evil 5," the longbow is one of the unlockable items. This powerful and entertaining weapon is exclusive to Sheva. It features unlimited arrows that cause 1,500 damage for each shot, all but ensuring that you'll be tearing through opponents with ease. It's possible to access the Longbow on your second trip through the game. Before you can unlock it, you'll have to spend a large amount of gold to fulfill the proper conditions on your first play-through.

     Play through the game to Chapter 2-1. Complete the dock area, then enter the building to the northeast just before entering the shanty town. Locate the S75 rifle by opening the metal case.

     Upgrade the S75 to its maximum capability in firepower, reload speed and capacity. This process will cost 90,000 gold.

     Complete the game's plot by finishing all chapters. Begin a new game, then visit the weapons shop. You can now purchase the longbow for 50,000 gold.
