How to Uninstall a Game on PS3

Sony's PlayStation 3 is a game console that includes an internal hard drive, among other features. By going to the PlayStation store, users can download games directly to the console. Because the console has a limited amount of memory, however, you may wish to delete previously installed games to create space.

Instructions

      Turn on your console by pressing the PS button in the center of your control pad.

      Scroll across to the "Game" menu using the D-Pad. Scroll down to your downloaded games folder and press "X."

      Scroll to the game that you wish to delete and press the "Triangle" button on your control pad to access the options menu.

    • 4

      Select "Delete" to delete the file. Select "Yes" to confirm that you wish to delete it.
