How to Reassign a Controller for the PS3

DUALSHOCK wireless controllers allow you to play PS3 games and navigate through several of the your gaming console's features. To use your wireless controller with your PS3 system, you have to pair the device with your gaming console. If one of your controllers is no longer synced with your system, pairing it reassigns a number to the controller. This allows the controller and system to communicate.
