How to Delete PS3 Game Data

The PlayStation 3 is a seventh-generation games console created by Sony. As well as gaming, it features a range of media and entertainment-based functions. Unlike the two previous Sony consoles, the PS3 has a built-in hard drive for storing media files and game content. In order to prevent your memory from filling up, you may wish to delete old game data.

     Push the PS button in the center of your PlayStation control to turn on the console.

     Use the D-Pad to scroll across to the the "Game" menu. Scroll up or down to the "Game Data Utility" and press "X."

   • 3

     Scroll through the game data to what you wish to delete. Press triangle and select "Delete." Select "Yes" to confirm the deletion process.
