Travel to Solomon's Folly, south of Benedict Point on foot, horse or via fast travel if you have discovered the location already. Walk inside the destroyed home and into the basement to find the first scrap in a chest.
Travel to Ridgewood Farm and accept a horse breaking job. Break the horse by keeping your balance using the control stick. When the job is successfully complete, you will earn the second scrap.
Travel to Armadillo and compete in a hand of poker. Win the poker game by beating all of the other players at the table. Poker in "Red Dead Redemption" follows the same rules as Texas Hold 'Em, so play your cards right to be the last man at the table and win the third outfit scrap.
Accept a bounty hunting mission against a member of the Walton's Gang while in Armadillo by reading the wanted posters outside the sheriff's office. Use your lasso to hogtie the criminal and carry him or place him on your horse to bring him back in. Capture the bounty and bring him back to the sheriff's office alive to receive the fourth scrap.
Set the next scrap as your active mission and travel to Cholla Springs. This will trigger an event where members of the Walton's Gang are attacking a wagon. Save the wagon to receive the fifth outfit scrap.
Purchase the final scrap from the tailor in Thieves Landing when all other scraps have been found. The scrap costs $50. When purchased you will be able to change into the Walton's Gang outfit at any time by visiting one of your safe houses.
