How to Control the Glaive in Dark Sector for PS3

"Dark Sector" for the PlayStation 3 stars Hayden Tenno as the main character, but it can be argued that the real star of the game is his weapon, the glaive. You can throw this razor-sharp boomerang from a distance at your enemies, causing large amounts of damage. Additionally, you can control the glaive once you throw it by employing an ability known as "aftertouch." Using aftertouch, you can control your glaive while it is mid-flight, allowing you to aim it at your enemies' weak spots and defeat multiple enemies at once.

     Press the "R2" button on the PlayStation 3 controller to throw your glaive.

     Press and hold the "R2" button again once you throw the glaive to initiate the aftertouch ability.

     Use the right analog stick on the PlayStation 3 controller to control the glaive. The glaive travels in the direction in which you are holding the stick.

   • 4

     Release the "R2" button to cease using aftertouch. Once you release the button, the glaive returns to you.
