     View the back of the PS3 controller. Notice the small hole with a button at the bottom located above the rear sticker. This is the reset button.

     Locate a thin, long object to press the button, such as a mechanical pencil or paperclip.

     Use the object to press and hold the controller's reset button. Release the button after the controller restarts.
