Pick up a tree or light pole while Megatron flies around dropping bombs. He makes three passes before landing, so stay away from the center of the park until he lands.
Dodge Megatron when he rushes at you. During the first stage of the battle, Megatron ducks down and charges in an attempt to knock you down. Sidestep or jump out of the way and let him finish running. When he does, hurl the pole or tree at him.
Rush toward Megatron once his HP meter appears. Start attacking him using hand-to-hand combat to deplete his health. When you have depleted enough of it, he transforms and starts flying around again.
Dodge Megatron's bombs by staying away from the center of the battlefield. If you need to replenish your health, shoot down some of the military helicopters that are hovering nearby. When Megatron lands for the second stage of the battle, he will start swinging a large ball and chain.
Grab any object on the ground, such as a tree or car, and throw it at Megatron to stop the ball and chain attack. Rush him and start pounding him with melee attacks until he starts swinging the ball again or takes flight.
Watch Megatron after he flies around two more times. When he lands again, he will start using his flamethrower and running toward you. Pick up an object before he lands to prepare for this. When he ignites the flamethrower, throw the object at him to stop the attack.
Dodge and stop Megatron's attacks, then attack him when he is stunned. Repeat the pattern until you deplete all of his health.
