The SixAxis represents the control stick functionality of PlayStation 3 controllers. You can use a SixAxis in order to act as a cursor at certain times within the gaming experience. This may pop up during individual games; however, the most common time to use the SixAxis as a pointer can be found during network browsing. You can initiate network browsing in order to use the SixAxis using a few simple steps on the entertainment console.

Turn on your PlayStation 3. Allow the system to boot.

Scroll over to "Network." Press "X."

Select "Internet Browser." You can use your SixAxis control stick to act as a cursor on the Internet browser.
