How Do I Save My Netflix Disc to My PS3?

One of the many things that the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) can do is stream Instant Watch movies from your Netflix account. When the feature was first introduced, users were required to use an Instant Watch disc to access their Netflix account on the PS3. As of October 2010, a downloadable Netflix application is available that gives you all of the functions of the Netflix disc without needing to insert the disc into your PS3.

     Turn on your PS3 console and scroll to the "PlayStation Network" tab in the Xross Media Bar (XMB).

     Scroll Down and select "What's New."

     Scroll to the "Netflix" icon and press "X" to select it. The application will be downloaded to your PS3 console.

     Scroll to the "Video" tab and select the "Netflix" icon once the download has finished.

     Enter your Netflix account's login information to access your account.
