How to Make an EXP Neck Item in Star Ocean

One of the best ways to equip your party for any situation in "Star Ocean: The Last Hope" is by creating the items yourself. If you are looking to boost your party members' levels quickly, you can create items that increase the amount of EXP you receive after each battle. This is done through Synthesis, which takes the properties of one item and transfers them to another. Using this process, you can create a neck accessory that gives you 45 percent more EXP per battle.

Instructions

- 1
  Go into the Item Creation room on the Calnus. This is the room directly across from the bridge. Interact with the console at the back of the room to summon Welch, then select "Synthesis" from the list of options he gives you.

  Put a Warning Brooch down as your base item. Synthesize an Aquaberry to your base item.

  Go back into the Synthesize process and place the same Warning Brooch as your base item. Synthesize a Curry Rice to the Warning Brooch. Repeat this process until you have synthesized three Warning Brooches.

  Place a Silvance as your base item and synthesize one of the Warning Brooches to it. Repeat until you have synthesized all three Warning Brooches to the Silvance.

  Set the neck accessory you want to equip as the base item. Synthesize the Silvance to it.
