How to Change the BitStream Setting for an Optical Out for PS3

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) is a gaming and multimedia center for the home theater. The PS3 was designed with cutting edge home theater interfaces in mind, but also provides many other modern interfaces. You can choose between these and select the best interface for your home audio system. For example, you may want to switch from PCM audio to BitStream, which is preferred if you are using a fiber optic audio cable. You can then listen to the PS3 and decide if this improves the audio quality or not.
