How to Hook Up Your GI Series to Your PS3

Skullcandy manufactures the G.I. Series gaming headset, which is compatible with the PlayStation 3 (PS3). Gaming headsets give players the ability to communicate with other players as they play a game together, whether they are in the next room or across the world. The G.I. Series has an adjustable headband, a flexible microphone that gives players the ability to play and pause, comfortable earpads and the ability to adjust game and chat volume.

     Turn the PS3 system on by pressing the power button on the front of the console.

     Insert the USB end of the G.I. Series headset into an empty USB port on the PS3. Ports are found on the front of the console.

     Insert a PS3 game and begin playing to test the headset to see if it works properly.

     Go to "Settings" and "Audio Settings" if the headset is not working properly. Select "Output" and choose "Headset" to enable your gaming headset.
