"Singstar: ABBA" is part of the "Singstar" series of games, which are karaoke-style party games, whereby you make your best effort to sing along with popular songs. "Singstar: ABBA," as the name suggests, features songs from the Swedish pop group ABBA. "Singstar" games on the same platform are all compatible with the same microphones.

Official Wireless Microphones
- The "Singstar: ABBA" game is generally bought alongside a set of microphones. The standard type of microphone which is bought with the game is the Sony Singstar Wireless Microphone. - Although primarily intended for use with the "We Sing" game for the Nintendo Wii, the We Sing Two Mic Pack can be used with the PlayStation 3 and "Singstar: ABBA." The pack also includes a four USB port hub, which can be used to play "Singstar: ABBA" with more than one friend. As the name of the pack suggests, it comes with two microphones, and these can also be used with the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii. The main downside of these microphones is the fact that they are wired, but they are compatible with many different games requiring microphones, across platforms.
