How to Beat the Fool's Idol in Demon's Souls

"Demon's Souls" is a video game released by Atlus exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 3 platform. In this game, you take on the role of a brave warrior seeking to save the land of Boletaria from the evil demons from the Deep Fog. To succeed in your journey, you must fight numerous bosses, including the Fool's Idol. Defeating the Fool's Idol requires patience because she will clone herself until she herself is defeated.

Instructions

- 1
  Defeat the dreglings at a distance. Keep your distance from the Fool's Idol and pick off the dreglings surrounding her. Use magic or a bow and arrow to take them out one at a time.

  Run up to the Fool's Idol and swing at her if you are a melee class. While this can make you vulnerable to attack, swinging a two-handed weapon at her is the quickest way to take her down.

  Continue using ranged attacks if you are not a melee class. Magic and crossbows are a safe method of attacking the Fool's Idol when you know which one is the real one.

  Press "R3" when the Fool's Idol clones herself. All of her clones have health bars, but the real one displays none. When you figure out which one is the real Fool's Idol, focus solely on attacking her.
